What process is involved in a search engine adding your website to their result pages?
A: Once your url has been submitted to a search engine it enters a queue to be indexed. The indexing process includes having a script run through all of the links and data throughout your webpages and through the use of specially designed algorhythms, your pages are added to the search index database. Your ranking is determined based on many factors including link popularity, keywords, meta tags, and content. The usual time frame involved in a basic submission is up to 3 months for your site to be indexed and included in real time search results.
